The Camden-Wyoming Rotary Club extends its sincere appreciation to the students of Holy Cross High School for their enthusiastic participation in our recent shoe drive benefiting Soles4Souls.
Through their efforts, dozens of new and gently used shoes were collected to support this important initiative. Their commitment to service is a powerful example of young people making a meaningful difference in both local and global communities.
The donated shoes will be distributed through Soles4Souls’ 4Opportunity program, which helps women entrepreneurs in developing countries start and grow small businesses selling shoes and clothing. This microenterprise model provides a sustainable source of income, enabling women to support their families, pay for education, secure housing, and build brighter futures.
In addition to creating economic opportunity, the program also promotes environmental stewardship. By collecting and redistributing gently used shoes, we help reduce waste and keep wearable items out of landfills.
We are proud to partner with Holy Cross High School and grateful for the students’ leadership, generosity, and dedication to service. Their efforts truly reflect the Rotary motto: Service Above Self.
Thank you, Holy Cross, for helping us create opportunity and impact—one pair of shoes at a time.
