Last Tuesday evening, August 5, under the starlit sky, the Camden Wyoming Club had the pleasure of joining a spirited baseball game featuring the Shorebirds, with a noble cause at its heart. The proceeds were dedicated to supporting the global fight against polio, drawing an impressive gathering of 135 Rotarians from District 7630. It was a delightful occasion that brought our Rotary family together in unity and celebration, amidst a feast of food and an abundance of joy.

As the game reached its seventh inning stretch—a moment famously infused with anticipation—the atmosphere brimmed with camaraderie. It was then that past district governor Bill Ferguson took a moment to honor Max Hutsel with a Rotary Paul Harris pin, acknowledging his generous financial contributions to polio eradication, a cause close to all our hearts.

Our club was well-represented with nine members in attendance, joining numerous other clubs and esteemed district governors, both past and present. The evening was not just a testament to our commitment to a philanthropic cause, but also a celebration of community and fellowship within the Rotary. #rotarydistrict7630
