Huge thanks to the incredible 26 individuals who rolled up their sleeves at our July 23 blood drive, in partnership with the Blood Bank of Delmarva! Your generosity is truly making a difference right here in our community.

But the need for blood is constant and urgent! Every 2 seconds, someone in the U.S. needs blood, and here on the Delmarva Peninsula, the Blood Bank of Delmarva has recently declared a blood emergency, with their supply falling below a critical 2-day inventory. That's far from the ideal 7-day supply needed to meet hospital and patient needs.

One single blood donation has the power to save up to THREE lives! Whether it's for accident victims, patients undergoing surgery, those battling cancer, or individuals with chronic illnesses, blood transfusions are a lifeline that cannot be manufactured.

We encourage everyone who is able to consider donating. Your selfless act can provide hope and healing to those who desperately need it.

To learn more about eligibility or to find a donation center near you, visit the Blood Bank of Delmarva's website at www.delmarvablood.org or call 1-888-8-BLOOD-8.

Let's continue to support our community and ensure a stable blood supply for everyone! ❤️🩸
